My gel plate obsession began in late January 2024. One of the reasons I love it so much is that you never know how it’s actually going to turn out. Ghost prints, accidental marks, and downright mistakes give the prints so much more beauty and meaning. I love creating layers and making the paper feel like it’s got depth beyond two dimensions.
There is always something behind the surface. What is trying to come through but stays hidden? What would prefer to stay hidden but is ever so slightly revealed?
